For more than 57 years, consumers have known and trusted KYMDAN. The company’s main mattress products are made of 100% natural latex in the form of foam (sponge or mousse) and are used all over the world. In addition to mattresses, KYMDAN proudly supplies customers with a wide variety of products such as beds, pillows, lounge suites and sofas that are all made according to international quality standards.

Kymdan Company is a private enterprise (i.e. not a state owned enterprise) and has been privatized in the form of a family company since 1999 (the state capital in the mattress company accounts 5.84% of total capital). Company Kymdan is not public joint stock companies (less than 100 shareholders under the law of Vietnam), not listed on stock exchanges did not participate in any form in OTC transactions.

Kymdan factory is located in industrial Northwest Cu Chi (11 hectares), 02 affiliated factories (garment factory for export, Furniture factory), 01 overseas Kymdan companies, 04 domestic branches, more than 631 stores and dealers within Vietnam and abroad. Kymdan has registered its trademark in 88 countries and territories.

This is a new product for the Australian market. Therefore we would like to invite you to our showrooms to view and try our products. Kymdan does not provide on line purchases, as we prefer the traditional methods of face to face contact with customers.

KYMDAN factory in Cu Chi (11 hectares)

KYMDAN company has been privatized since early 1999. Shareholder capital investment started in early 2000, followed by construction of KYMDAN's new production factory, including a plant and machinery, on four hectares at Cu Chi North West Industrial Zone. Since the end of 2000, the factory has been using modern industrial equipment, including automated production that eliminates the need for manual production.

A source of pride for Kymdan is its production technology for natural latex mattresses. That technology has been studied, developed and applied in Kymdan factories and is unlike technology used by any other enterprises in the same business line. Moreover, all equipment and automatic or mechanized production lines have been designed by Kymdan to be as appropriate as possible for our own production procedures..

Thanks to our production technology, Kymdan has successfully competed with other mattress brands in the market.

In 2001, KYMDAN continued to expand its existing factory by adding 2 hectares of production capacity. In early 2007, the factory added 5 more hectares to meet growing demands for Kymdan products in domestic and foreign markets in the near future (See growth chart). Due to such expansion, the factory area now totals 11 hectares.

In a severe competitive environment with nearly 20 latex mattress manufacturers in the market, Kymdan has to apply a strict confidentiality policy at the factory to maintain secrecy regarding its unique technological procedure and its automatic production line for natural latex mattresses. Specifically:

Kymdan has not registered its production technology and automatic production line for patent protection (protection lasts only 15 years). Instead, Kymdan has chosen to protect its patent rights in the form of trade secrets.

To prevent transmission of images of our equipment, we do not allow staff members to bring mobile phones into production areas. In addition, staff members have limited access and can go to certain areas only.

Therefore, we would also like to express apology to and hope to receive understanding from state agencies, partners and customers because of limitations applied to group tours of our production factories. We can arrange tours only for certain leaders in high positions who are not accompanied by personnel from media agencies who often take photos and report news.
