2. Why are exported KYMDAN mattresses different from the local ones in terms of maintenance period (10 years compared to 6 years)? Firstly, we affirm to you that local KYMDAN mattresses and the exported ones are completely the same in quality (due to the same production materials, processing formulae, production process and quality control standards). Different maintenance policies applied by KYMDAN are mainly based on different use conditions of the markets, with details as follows: - The climate and environment of KYMDAN’s export markets (Europe, Australia, Japan,...) are better, cooler, and contamination level of the mattresses (urine, etc.) is very low. These factors results in longer service life of the products compared to the climatic conditions of Vietnam and contamination level of the products consumed locally (hotter, higher contamination level).
- Product usage applied in various markets is also different. In reality, it has been found in many cases that our competitors planted their people to KYMDAN’s system of agents by turning them into our agents with the aim of investigating our distribution policies and carrying out deranged actions to reduce the prestige of KYMDAN’s trademark.Therefore, during the operation of an agent, if KYMDAN discovers that such agent is the planted people of the Company’s competitor aiming at deranging our business and denigrating, spreading bad news about us to cause misunderstanding to our customers about the Company, abusing KYMDAN’s trademark for selling our competitors’ products, selling fake KYMDAN mattresses, etc, to rupture the prestige of KYMDAN’s brand name, which are unlawful, unethical actions in business, the Company will uncompromisingly terminate the contract with such agent, withdraw the signboard irrespective of the high turnover contributed by such agent to KYMDAN’s business. |

4. I am living in America, where can I buy Kymdan mattress or can Kymdan deliver their product to us? Kymdan has not agreed to enter into any distributor or retailed agent contract with anyone in America though we received considerable offers from various trading companies in America. We plan to establish by ourselves a subsidiary in America once the conditions are as favorable as those in Australia, Germany or China so that Kymdan products can be directly distributed to the consumers of America market.
The reason of the above refusal is to strictly control our distribution process, particularly the selling prices. Distributors or retailed agents in America, if any, are prevented from spontaneously fixing the selling prices which are beyond Kymdan’s control in order to avoid facing the risk of being sued for dumping.
In case American customers buy Kymdan’s products in Vietnam and wish them to be delivered to America, we will counsel them about the export procedures to be carried out at the Vietnamese Customs Department or recommend you to the forwarding companies for delivery arrangement.

5. Through many information, I have known that Kymdan mattress has the ability of being “anti-inflammable”. Now, I am using Kymdan mattress and have known that Kymdan mattress is produced from 100% natural rubber which is easily inflammable. Can Kymdan company explain this? First, let’s us rectify that Kymdan mattress is “non-inflammable”, that means it is resistant to burning, it delays the burning, it does not facilitate maintenance and increase of burning. It is not “anti-inflammable” that can be understood as being against, or being able to stop burning.
The ability of being “non-inflammable” is shown through the fact that the mattress is not inflammable by a burning cigarette; on fire exposure the mattress does not activate and expand the fire as other materials do; the mattress rapidly absorbs liquid because it has an openly porous structure, allowing an easy stop of the fire by water. Recently, there are 2 fires in Vinh Long Province and Ho Chi Minh City in which Kymdan mattresses have proven their ability of being “non-inflammable”; and remained almost intact though other things were completely burnt.
Being non-inflammable is an obligatory criteria for furniture in general and for mattresses in particular in many nations all over the world. This characteristics of Kymdan mattress has been tested and certified by foreign international organizations about safety such as ECO (German) Institute of Environment Research and the Californian Organization of Furniture and Thermal Safety (USA). |

7. On the market, there are commonly false and copied products, how genuine Kymdan mattress can be purchased and how can genuine Kymdan mattress be differentiated from false or copied ones? To ensure that authentic KYMDAN product is bought, once in demand, please contact our system of distribution, including authentic KYMDAN’s outlets and agents, nationwide or contact us directly at 08.3861 9999. Kymdan agents are officially nominated and authorized to supply Kymdan products in the area. Kymdan’s search, appraisal and nomination of an authorized agent is conducted judiciously and dependably based on the strictest criteria in terms of ethical and business practices. And these authorized agents are subjected to stern, constant supervision and monitoring. 8. In case of mis-purchasing of false or copied products of bad quality, how can this be dealt with? This may be the question reserved to all Kymdan products and not only to Kymdan mattress.
Whenever the customers suspect that they have purchased false or copied products of bad quality, they can directly contact with Kymdan to ask for evaluation testing.
In case that it is a false or copied product, the customers can contact the Department of Market Management for further investigation to clear out the origin of the product and pursue the concerning saler and distributor according to the law.
Besides, the customers can contact the Association of Protection of the Users in order to get help. The association will protect the righteous and legal benefits of the users.

9. I recognized that the measurements of KYMDAN Deluxe had been verified. What about other mattress models such as KYMDAN Massage, KYMDAN Special, folding mattresses, mattresses for hospital beds, tourist mattresses... Is their quality enhanced, and how much? Measurements of KYMDAN Deluxe have been verified, and the other products (KYMDAN Massage, KYMDAN Special, foldable mattresses, mattresses for hospital beds, tourist mattresses, children’s mattresses) originated from the first product with supporting features supplemented to meet diversified demands and use conditions of the users. Therefore, they share the same 20% increase in quality as KYMDAN Deluxe does. |

10. In such case that the KYMDAN mattress I bought (after 9 February 2009) is one of the unrenovated products with unenhanced quality, shall I enjoy the 6-year maintenance period or be entitled to exchange it for an enhanced quality mattress? Since 9 February 2009, all KYMDAN mattresses, lounge-suites and beds are under 6-year maintenance policy (in Vietnam), which is shown on the maintenance slips. 11. How to distinguish between the mattresses with 20% enhanced quality and the unrenovated ones? It is impossible to visually define if a mattress is of 20% enhanced quality. Precise distinction will be made with either a specialized measurement tool or production parameters. In addition, as of 9 February 2009, KYMDAN mattresses, lounge suits and beds are offered 6-year maintenance policy (in Vietnam), no unqualified products can be found. |

12. Actually, back pain is a common pathology in persons who are not much old yet. Is the use of inadequate mattress one of the causes of back pain? The state of back pain in young people is commonly due to phenomena such as arthrosis, osteophytes or traumatism of the vertebral column.
To prevent the aforementioned pathologies, besides keeping an adequate diet with enough nutrients and a regularized labour regime, we have to protect the vertebral column in basic positions.
In standing and sitting positions, we have to keep the vertebral column very straight, and avoid deformed position in sitting or to much bending toward the table or downward.
In the laying down position during sleep, we can keep the supine or side position according to our habits but we have to ensure the vertebral column is aligned on a straight line, without any curvature. Thus, in using a mattress, we have to choose one that ensures the requirements relating to the degree of firmness, elasticity, etc.

13. I am suffering from lumbar spondylosis (lumbar pain). Which mattress will be best for me? In normal practice, people with spinal problems find the super hard (SH) mattresses appropriate for straightening their spine. However, depending on specific symptoms of each person, mattresses with appropriate hardness are available for their use, based on the recommendations of your medical doctors. Kindly note that Kymdan mattresses do not serve as a curement to spinal problems, but a means to support the spine-related patients in enhancing the quality of their sleep. |

14. What is the importance of sleep relating to human sleep? As we know, in a day of 24 hours, sleep has already taken 8 hours (young people sleep longer than old people), this means that 1/3 of one’s life time is reserved to sleep, this has already shown the important role of sleep. For growing children, their bodies secrete growth hormone during sleep, consequently, only a good, deep and enjoyable sleep can help children in having a good mental and physical growth. For labourers, sleep is the time when the body re-generates health, preparing for a new day of work. 15. As KYMDAN mattresses are large and heavy, how can they be moved when required? To a certain extent, such comment can just be what you feel since a number of other rubber mattresses available in Vietnam are heavier than KYMDAN mattresses from 6kg – 12kg/ mattress (for the dimension of 1.6m x 2m x 0.15m and 1.6m x 2m x 0.20m) and yet their quality cannot be compared to Kymdan’s.
Besides, the big size mattresses of other brand names are unfoldable, hence, transportation of such requires at least 2 persons, yet with great difficulty. Meanwhile, thanks to their foldability, Kymdan mattresses can be easily transported by a strong person.
Regarding the mattresses made of light materials such as cotton-wool, coconut fibers, foam rubber or polyester…, KYMDAN products are heavier due to thick density of natural rubber. Presently, researches have continuously been carried out by the Company to improve the weight of the mattresses while good quality is ensured. |

16. I have been using your mattress for a long time. How could I wash it? Whom should I contact for mattress washing service? Once found dirty, the mattress can be cleaned by removing the mattress sheet and cleaning off the dirt by a clean wet (but not soaked) piece of cloth. Let the mattress dry naturally (exposing it in the open air for a couple of hours depending on the weather and climate) or direct the fan towards the wet surface until it is completely dry (for about half hour). Exposing the mattress directly to the sunlight is absolutely not recommended.
The mattresses used in hotels should be covered by mattress protection sheets (new product of Kymdan) so as to prevent body excreta (sweat, etc.) to permiate directly to the mattresses, keeping them clean at all times, free from unpleasant smells, limiting the development of bacteria inside the mattresses and making it easy for cleaning.
Mattress washing is not recommended, particularly advertisements from other cleaning service providers should not be followed due to the risk of mattress damage resulted from the application of inappropriate detergent chemicals or improper way of mattress drying.

17. Please show me how to deal with a wet Kymdan mattress caused by children’s enuresis. If the mattress is frequently wet due to children’s enuresis, will it be damaged? And, will such mattress be under your maintenance policy? Naturally, mattresses under unusual effects such as children’s enuresis, particularly in frequently wet state, will have shorter service life. Once a mattress is wet due to children’s enuresis, the following measure can be carried out ( read How to handle wet mattresses).
Normal Kymdan’s maintenance policy will be applied to the cases of mattress damage (loose, rotten) caused by urine permeation provided strictly that such mattresses are not dried under the sunlight . |

18. I own a set of KYMDAN lounge-suite covered with cloth, however, it is found with many dirty spots. Do you provide lounge-suite cleaning service, and if you do, who can I contact? Do you provide cover replacement service? We do not provide the service of lounge-suite cleaning. Nevertheless, you may contact Tan Dinh Company (address: 82/6/17 Ly Chinh Thang, District 3, HCMC – telephone: (08) 38465734). This company has cooperated with us on lounge-suite cleaning service provided to our customers.
Attention: In consideration of lounge-suite cleaning service, the cleaning will be carried out with the cover, not the seat mattresses of the lounge-suite, similarly to Kymdan bed mattresses. Furthermore, in our annual program of “In lieu of the words of thanks”, free lounge-suite cleaning vouchers are distributed to Kymdan users in HCMC.
Once your lounge-suite covers are too dirty or old, please make use of our cover replacement service. Depending on the style of the lounge-suite, cover replacement can be carried out on-the-spot at your premise or in our factory. In the latter case, transportation fee is offered free if your houses are located in the inner of HCMC. 20. I would like a Kymdan mattress that fits my (oversized) bed. Could you produce one for me? Whom should I contact for ordering? How long is the delivery time? Kymdan mattresses have various specifications with the length of 2m, the width of 0.8m, 1m, 1.2m, 1.4m, 1.6m and 1.8m. Nevertheless, any particular mattresses that fit your available beds can be produced and supplied. For the mattresses with irregular specifications, additional labor work such as cutting and connecting will be carried out. Please be assured of the quality of the cutting and connection joints due to the specialized adhesives produced by Kymdan itself. Such cuttings and connection joints are also under our maintenance policy.
For such special orders, please contact any official agents or outlets of Kymdan nearest to your area. Delivery time can be 3 – 7 days depending on the transportation distance. For the connected mattresses, they will be carried out by our Technical Department at our factor or branch offices to ensure strict control upon the quality. Consequently, it could take a little longer time for delivery if you are staying in the provincial areas far from where Kymdan’s factory or branch offices are located.

21. I own a Kymdan mattress of 1.60 x 2.00m. Could I change the dimension of my mattress to 1.55 x 2.00m (to fit my available bed)? How much does it cost? What about the maintenance policy applicable to this case? This is a simple demand on specification modification (from big size to smaller size). We will help you tailor your present mattress to your expected dimension with free labor cost (cutting, adhesion). However, depending on the current quality condition of your present mattress, should additional supporting components be required for the mattress (e.g. additional mattress walls), they will be charged.
Though the modifed mattress cannot be as good-looking as the original one, it cannot be recognized thanks to its cover. Furthermore, the quality of the mattress is ensured and Kymdan’s on-going maintenance policy is applicable to it.

22. As Kymdan mattresses are diversified on thickness, e.g. 5cm, 7.5cm, 10cm, 12.5cm, 17.5cm and 20cm, what is the most appropriate thickness for my choice? Should a 5cm mattress be selected, will its hardness, elasticity, ..., meet technical requirements? At any thickness, Kymdan mattresses meet all requirements on loadability, supportability, spine straightening ability, ... 25. I am using Kymdan Massage. I wonder if my 2-year-old child could share such mattress with me? In principle, Kymdan Massage is designed for the users within the working age range, aiming at relieving the tiredness, body pains... for them after a hard day of work. Since your child is 2, considered light weight, the massage nodules of mattress will leave stronger effect upon his/ her body as compared to heavier body weight.
