1. The optimal firmness of KYMDAN mattresses  supports and straightens the user’s spine instead of causing the spine to sag because mattresses do not develop sunken or hollow areas (see details). This extremely important feature helps a user avoid back pain after sleep and is especially good for elderly people and for children during the process of spine development.

Due to mattress structure that provides suitable distance between load bearing axes and optimal load bearing ability, the force acting on the body of a user lying on the mattress is distributed evenly over the whole contact surface. This feature helps a user to feel comfortable in any position and provides good sleep because there is no back annoyance or feeling that high pressure has been placed on the body.

The benefits of this feature are clear when a mattress user kneels or lies propped on elbows (e.g. for reading). In such cases, there is absolutely no knee or elbow annoyance or pain.

 

3. Mattress elasticity is obvious only on surfaces in direct contact with force. Expansion or contraction produces no sound or vibration that can spread. When a user changes sleep position, any nearby sleeper is not negatively affected.

For families with young children, the effects of this feature are particularly obvious. Sleep of children is not disturbed even if the mother moves or changes sleep position frequently.

4. An open foam mattress structure allows air circulation and increases contact surface. The mattress base has large square holes and the mattress top surface has small round holes, resulting in extremely high aeration that prevents a user’s back from becoming hot (Before 1975, KYMDAN mattresses were called KYMDAN Ventilated Latex mattresses).

This special feature is great for parents with young babies or infants that occasionally wet the bed. Due to the structure of the foam openings, this allows urine to flow through the permeable mattress, not horizontally soaking the childs back. To promote this, the mattress used for infants and young children should be placed on the bed to allow the urine to flow down the mattress. Don’t place the mattress on the floor.

For a user who spends long periods of treatment time in bed and who requires increased aeration for the back to prevent skin ulceration, the mattress can be inverted so that the large square holes are on the surface on which the patient lies.

Note: If a user spends long periods of treatment time in bed, the mattress cover should be made of cotton or the mattress should be uncovered and lined with a cotton spread to allow maximum aeration.

6. A KYMDAN product has no nitrosamine, ensuring user safety. The substance nitrosamine is common in the rubber processing industry and can cause cancer via contact (absorbance into the body through skin and sweat glands).

7. A KYMDAN mattress resists insects. The mattress is not suitable as an insect habitat, so there are no insects inside. No insects crawl, bite or sting, so good sleep is ensured for a user. KYMDAN mattresses also protect a user from germs spread by insects.

Children may cry in the middle of the night and parents are unsure as to why? This could possibly be due to bed bugs biting the children, causing a burning sensation. The Kymdan 100% Natural Latex mattresses are anti dust mite and anti insect. Put simply bed bugs don’t like to live in the Kymdan mattresses. This will no doubt give parents peace of mind knowing that there child is sleeping unharmed.

8. Made of 100% natural rubber, the product degrades naturally at the end of service life. This very important factor meets ecological standards for protecting the environment from pollution related to solid waste that cannot degrade. Products of other manufacturers do not meet environmental standards so well.

9. Products are fire resistant, do not ignite due to a burning cigarette or sparks and do not contribute to the spread of fire. An open and spongy structure helps prevent spread of fires and absorbs water quickly, allowing fire to be extinguished quickly.

10. High elasticity is normal in natural rubber. However, KYMDAN has perfected elasticity in its products so that they return to original shape and size after bearing strong and continuous force.
This feature keeps KYMDAN mattresses from compressing and developing hollow areas during long use and lengthens service life.

11. With unique technology and know how, KYMDAN products have great mechanical strength and easily bear high and continuous pressure loads without damage. Such bearing capacity is proven in tests done by KYMDAN Company. After being subjected to a 10-ton roller moving back and forth 200 times, KYMDAN mattress products remain intact and undamaged, showing the amazing support ability of KYMDAN mattresses.

With this outstanding characteristic, KYMDAN mattresses have won the hearts of families with young children due to its excellent ability to endure extreme compressions resulting from children running, bouncing and jumping on Kymdan mattresses safely and without any pain.  

12. Natural rubber latex does not have high support ability. However, due to unique know how, KYMDAN mattresses have high support ability and quality does not change over time, prolonging service life to an average of twenty-five years. Service life can even be up to thirty years if the mattress is used and maintained in compliance with instructions in the warranty, (See User’s Guide and Mattress Warranty sections).

Many private businesses in Vietnam that produce products such as motorbike saddles or lounge suites buy used KYMDAN mattress material to use in their products. Such businesses claim that their products are made from KYMDAN products and the reason for such advertising is that KYMDAN mattresses have long service life and quality indicators such as elasticity and high tensile strength change little over time.

KYMDAN hereby states categorically that there is no policy of providing KYMDAN mousse as raw materials for other businesses. All advertisements or claims from other companies suggesting that products are made from KYMDAN mousse are false or such products are made from previously owned KYMDAN latex mattresses.

13. Thanks to their elasticity, Kymdan mattresses are easy to roll up and easy to transport Beds equipped with Kymdan mattresses are easy to make.

Please note that:

• Some other mattresses made of natural rubber are substantially heavier than KYMDAN products (e.g. 6-12kg heavier in the case of mattresses having specifications of 1.6m x 2m x 0.15m and 1.6m x 2m x 0.20m). In addition, the quality of other mattresses cannot rival the quality of KYMDAN products. 
• Especially in the case of large mattresses, some mattress products made of other materials are as heavy as KYMDAN mattresses. However, because they cannot be rolled easily, transporting such products is difficult and requires at least two persons. On the contrary, KYMDAN mattress products can be rolled and transported easily by one strong person (see the video). 

14. Bad odor of rubber latex is absolutely eliminated from KYMDAN products, which are chocolate scented or odorless.

Any mattress product that has unpleasant rubber odor is definitely not a KYMDAN product. If you are one of the rare people who are allergic to chocolate scent, an alternative choice is an odorless KYMDAN mattress.
