Introduction of Youth Publishing House Science and Technology of Natural Rubber

 
Modern scientific advances give people unlimited comfort, both materially and spiritually. Achievement follows achievement and problems provide clues for developing new concepts. Inherent in products of the past is promise for better products in the future. 

 

Some products are used for one or two decades before being replaced completely with new products. Today, many new materials appear and satisfy the need of consumers, such as synthetic resin produced from kerosene by-products and composites formed by mixing resin with cellulose. However, natural rubber, a traditional material that has been in use for almost two centuries and still maintains strength.  Products of Kymdan Vietnam have been in constant use for half a century and have assumed the position of top natural latex product in terms of quality and styling for the Vietnamese market and for the world market.

The book SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF NATURAL RUBBER by engineer Nguyen Huu Tri is a meticulous and serious compilation based on studies, references and production experience. The book consists of 18 chapters, including the history of rubber discovery and development, types of rubber, experience with rubber planting and latex harvesting, chemical ingredients and latex properties, vulcanization, oxidation and aging of natural rubber, production formulas and processes, etc. Each chapter is a new, concise and easy-to-understand interpretation based on scientific and production experience. The book also gives general readers useful knowledge about product use.
