When placing the mattress on the tile to sleep, does the mattress prevent the air from rising?

It doesn’t matter what type of soil there will always be air in the ground. As the soil temperature changes air is released to the surface. So long as there are no cracks within the tiles then no ground air should be able to permeate through. Also, there are a few different layers beneath the tiles which also prevent the air from rising above the tiles.
